Abstract

Cover:Short‐term spinodal decomposition has been found to be a potentially viable strengthening treatment method for duplex stainless steels (and possibly also for the ferritics), with no noticeable negative influence on corrosion resistance. The improvement in cavitation erosion resistance of a duplex stainless steel has been used to demonstrate this viability.More detailed information can be found in: W. J. Ai, H. C. Kuan, J. J.
