Abstract

Cover:The influence of an embossing process on the microstructure and corrosion behavior of Al—1.1 wt%Mn strips used in the manufacturing of high‐frequency welded microfin tubes was studied. The optical and electron microscopic images, X‐ray tomography and FIB cross‐sectional analysis on the cover page present an overall view of deformation asymmetry caused by embossing and its influence on different corrosion behaviors at each side of the corroded embossed fins.More detailed information can be found in: Giorgio Giovanni Battista Zaffaroni, Visweswara Chakravarthy Gudla, Simone Laganá, Carsten Gundlach, Bjorn Olsson, Rouhollah Yazdi, Jan Halvor Nordlien, Rajan Ambat, Microstructure—Dependent Corrosion of Herringbone Grooved Embossed Al‐1.1 wt%Mn Strips for Heat Exchanger Tubes, Materials and Corrosion 2021, 72, 1582.
