Abstract

AbstractThe joint venture Austrian Tunnel Consortium Stuttgart 21 is constructing the Filder Tunnel with a length of 9.4 km and the Ober‐ and Untertürkheim Tunnel with a length of 6 km as part of the Stuttgart 21 project. The tunnel Ober‐ and Untertürkheim as well as the middle sections of the Filder Tunnel, which are located in difficult ground conditions, were driven conventionally.
