Abstract
Abstract“Gesamtstrahlung des stationären und impulsüberlagerten Argon‐Hochtemperaturbogens” (Total emission of a stationary, current driven, high temperature argon arc). Photographs of a 10 mm long, stationary arc IB = 160A a), with superimposed current drive by means of a capacitor discharge having a voltage of 3 kV b), 3.5 kV c), and 5kV d). The exposure time was about 1/200 s. The characteristic tracer of particles emitted from the electrodes are clearly visible in the case of current drive.
