Abstract

The cover picture shows spectroscopic methods to characterize mobile protons in a proton-conductive porous metal–organic frameworks with a regular crystalline structure. The long range ordering of host materials facilitates to uncover the molecular mechanism of the charged proton species formation and migration. As we use optical and radio-frequency instruments to probe the night sky secrets, we combine different types of molecular spectroscopies to shed light on the mysteries of the proton transfer in solids.
