3D rendering of medullary ray sheath fibers surrounding tubular elements and glomeruli in an embryonic day (E)18.5 mouse Foxd1GC/+; COL5A1fl/fl kidney. Decellularized E18.5 kidney stained for type V collagen (green), type IV collagen (blue), and proteoglycans (wheat germ agglutinin, red) imaged using confocal microscopy.
