Abstract

COVER ILLUSTRATION Anti-Inflammatory properties of cannabis may impact neural oscillatory abnormalities in people with HIV. In this issue, Christopher-Hayes et al. show that chronic cannabis use may be associated with a suppression of spontaneous gamma activity in the occipital cortices of adults with HIV. Previous work had linked elevated spontaneous gamma activity to cognitive decline in people with HIV.
