Abstract

AbstractThis cover (DOI: 10.1002/inf2.12398) shows a 2D InSe FET for fast and direct identification of SARS‐CoV‐2 variants. With a sub‐fM detection limit, such a device can directly recognize the difference between complementary and mutant nucleic acid sequences with diverse SNV types and positions in 15 min. This capability is due to the trap states in oxidized 2D InSe (InSe1‐xOx) after ALD Al2O3, making the carrier transport more sensitive to the EF shift from the negative charges of nucleic acid sequences. image
