Abstract

COVER ILLUSTRATION The image shows a left frontal glioma (brown) with cortical language areas identified via navigated transcranial magnetic stimulation (nTMS) (purple) non-invasively. Language-involved subcortical fiber tracts, such as the superior longitudinal fascicle I-III, uncinate fascle, inferior frontooccipital fascicle and corticobulbar fibers were visualized via function-based diffusion tensor imaging. This is perfomed by using the purple cortical nTMS areas as seed regions to assign function to white matter tracts.
