Abstract

The cover image by Mr.Kaniska Murmu and Dr. Partho S.G. Pattader shows Janus micro-threads comprised of two different polymers (depicted by red and blue blocks) that are generated by dynamic contact line lithography (DCLL). This exploits evaporation-mediated phase separation of polymers from a blend solution. The more soluble polymer phase (blue) separates at the driven contact line before the less soluble polymer (red). Depending on the overall polymer concentration in the blend, Janus micro-droplets and other rich morphologies were also observed. DOI: 10.1002/app.52490
