Abstract
The cover image by Bishnupada Mandal's team shows an FETEM image representing (3-Aminopropyl) trimethoxysilane (APTMS)-modified silica nanoparticles (AFSNP). The nanoparticle exhibited uniform spherical structure with a narrow particle size distribution. The particle morphology showed no significant change with functionalization of the silica nanoparticles. However, the APTMS modified silica nanoparticles (AFSNP) exhibited slightly rough-edged spherical structures compared to the unfunctionalized silica nanoparticles. This could be attributed to the polymerization of the organic layer on the particle surface. The interconnectivity formed due to the silanol-amine interaction, in this case, ensured efficient enhancement of CO2 separation. DOI: 10.1002/app.51438
