Abstract
The Cover Feature shows how nanomaterial sizes affect the light-induced electron transfer process with the nitrogenase enzyme. When 2.3 nm CdSe quantum dots are utilized for the photocatalytic hydrogen generation process, an 8-fold increase can be gained as compared with larger-sized quantum dots. Additionally, cysteine-mutated nitrogenase at the electron acceptor side (P-cluster) does not lead to enhanced catalytic performance. More information can be found in the Communication by M. M. Meirovich et al.
