Abstract

The Cover Feature shows the selective separation of lysine from glucose by liquid-phase adsorption using tailored activated carbons, highlighting a sustainable alternative to common separation techniques in biorefineries. The surface oxygen functionalities of the adsorbent play a major role in achieving excellent separation and high lysine adsorption capacities. More information can be found in the Full Paper by J.
