Abstract

The Cover Feature shows a rod like metal–organic framework adsorbent. It was composed by metal clusters and mixed ligands. The fluorinated ligands create a hydrophobic barrier over the crystal, which could prevent the interpenetration of water. The hierarchical structure of adsorbent allows the superior uptake of volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This novel adsorbent could effectively adsorb VOCs from humid exhaust gas.
