Abstract

The Cover Feature illustrates the conversion of the rigid polyurethane foam (RPUF) waste to N, O co-doped porous carbon with three-dimensional honeycomb-like porous structure rich in micro and mesopores. The high capacitance exhibited by this porous carbon, when applied as a supercapacitor electrode, comes from the combined presence of electrical double layer capacitance and pseudocapacitance, which is promising to be used in electric vehicle and renewable energy storage device.
