Cover Feature: Self‐Supporting and Shell‐Core Pd−Ni@Ni Nanowire Arrays Electrode as Anode of Direct Carbohydrazide Fuel Cell (ChemElectroChem 6/2023)

Abstract

The Cover Feature shows a direct carbohydrazide/hydrogen peroxide fuel cell equipped with a self-supporting and shell–core Pd–[email protected] nanowire arrays anode. In addition to the direct electrooxidation of carbohydrazide, the chemical decomposition of carbohydrazide into hydrazine and the subsequent hydrazine electrooxidation, and the chemical decomposition of hydrazine into hydrogen and the subsequent hydrogen electrooxidation, also occur on the Pd–Ni binary electrocatalyst.
