Abstract

The Cover Feature shows the preparation of the electroless nickel-plated sulfur (ENS) nanocomposite for lithium−sulfur battery cathodes. The plated nickel endowed the ENS nanocomposite with electron transfer, polysulfide trapping, and catalytic conversion capabilities, resulting in the development of a high-loading sulfur cathode in lean-electrolyte lithium batteries.
