Abstract

Graphical Abstract The Cover Feature illustrates two isomers of triptycene tribenzoquinone as universal cathode materials for alkali metal rechargeable batteries. By changing the position of their carbonyl groups from para- to ortho-position, the redox potentials are tuned without sacrificing their specific capacities, leading to high specific energies in Li, Na, and K cells.
