Abstract

The Cover Feature illustrates the construction of a polydopamine/PEO composite electrolyte by a mussel-adhesive inspired strategy. The mechanical, thermal and flame retarding properties of PEO electrolyte are comprehensively improved, and the all-solid-state lithium ion battery made from this composite electrolyte demonstrates good rate performance and cycling stability.
