Abstract

A dual-functional guanosine-based hydrogel (GBPA) integrating the photothermal property of PDA-AuNPs and the self-assembly ability of G by introducing dynamic borate ester was developed. Both in vitro and in vivo results confirmed that the GBPA hydrogel not only exhibited excellent photothermal toxicity, stability, injectability, andbiocompatibility, but also possessed high photothermal antitumor activity. These results provide a paradigm for the future design of anticancer hydrogels integrating multiple functions. More information can be found in the Research Article by Jiang Liu et al.
