Abstract

The Cover Feature shows dinuclear gold(I) chloride complexes with a series of diarsine ligands. The length and flexibility of the linkers between the two arsenic atoms were varied. The conformations and emission properties of the complexes were highly dependent on the ligand structures. In addition, the emission color and intensity of the complexes were drastically changed by external stimuli such as grinding and cooling. More information can be found in the Full Paper by H. Imoto, K. Naka and co-workers.
