Abstract

The Cover Feature illustrates the inter-site nature of methane over-oxidation by dicopper sites in zeolites used for direct methane-to-methanol conversion. Intermediates from methane oxidation can be stabilized at the immediate active site or at Brønsted acid sites, without over-oxidation. This ensures high methanol selectivities. More information can be found in the Article by Samuel O. Odoh and co-workers.
