Abstract

The Cover Feature shows the prospective application of natural Rajasthani clay, portrayed by an earthenware pot and desert in the background, as a support for the catalytic hydrogenation of imine and C=C bonds. Montmorillonite clay intercalated with palladium nanoparticles catalyses the hydrogenation of 3-diphenyl prop-2-en-1-imine under mild reaction conditions, and showed excellent reusability over five cycles.
