Abstract

A direct saturation of the commutation relations of axial charges with isospin currents is shown to lead in the covariant one particle approximation to frame independent relations among weak form factors. Assuming the absence of I = 1 operator Schwinger terms we obtain values for the weak decay constants f A and f ϱ and the width Γ Aϱπ of the A 1 meson in reasonable agreement with experiment.
