Abstract
We investigate the coupling of the nucleon to the lowest scalar-isoscalar q2q2 state, that is predicted at 670 MeV/c2 in the framework of cavity QCD to order αs. The q2q2 nucleon vertex is evaluated in the 3P0 qq pair creation model. Adjusting the 3P0 strength to fit the NNπ coupling constant, the calculated q2q2 nucleon vertex agrees very well with the NNα vertices used in one-boson-exchange models of the nucleon-force.
