Abstract
Wave propagation in exploration geophysics is usually modeled elastically or viscoelastically, Phenomena, which include non-seismic quantities are conventionally neglected, when determining elastic constarits of rocks. Coupled wave propagation has been observed in laboratory measurements for a long time; however in field experiments observations have been less convincing.
