Abstract

In this work, we recover progressive soliton solutions in magneto-optic waveguides having the parabolic-nonlocal law of refractive index. An improved F-expansion approach retrieves solutions in terms of coupled cn−sn,cn−dn, and dn−sn Jacobi elliptic functions. Subsequently, in the limiting approach, when the modulus of ellipticity approaches unity, progressive soliton solutions are retrieved. Under some special parameter values that controlled the existence of these solutions, some representative wave structures are graphically displayed in Figs. 1-6.
