Abstract

The atom-to-molecule conversion dynamics has been investigated via a two-photon Raman photoassociation process for the 87Rb atom-to-molecule conversion in a condensate system. This paper examines the role of effective two-photon Raman detuning for a wide range of values on the system dynamics and atom-to-molecule conversion. Comparison between Gross–Pitaevskii and modified Gross–Pitaevskii results has also been made.
