Abstract
Countermatch is a neural network algorithm for Dynamic Signature Verification (DSV). Its inherent tolerance for natural variations in peoples’ signatures enables it to outperform alternative DSV methods which are based on feature extraction. The successful transfer of this technology into the marketplace was demonstrated by the UK Employment Service in the world’s largest public trial of a signature verification system.
