Abstract
Realistic NN potentials like the Paris and the Bonn potential give different results for peripheral ..cap alpha..-..cap alpha.. phase shifts at low energy, with resulting consequences for the polarization of ..cap alpha.. particles. To study the hadronic ..cap alpha..-..cap alpha.. interaction in more detail, we have considered the Coulomb corrections to the phase shifts and compared them with model-independent predictions.
