Abstract
The effect of long-range Coulomb interaction (in the geometrical capacitance C approach) on a persistent current in a one-dimensional ballistic ring of correlated electrons with spin coupled to a reservoir at nonzero temperatures is considered. It is shown that in the limit of C→0 a ring and a reservoir are not completely decoupled which is due to a spin degree of freedom and affects considerably the persistent current.
