Abstract
We examine charging effects for Cooper pairs in ultrasmall Josephson junctions. For small ratio of Josephson coupling energy to charging energy the current-voltage characteristics show a Coulomb gap for Cooper pair tunneling. We observe tunneling of Cooper pairs at voltages where resonance with environmental modes occurs.
