Abstract

Objective To evaluate the cost-effectiveness and clinical efficacy of two therapeutic shemes for the eradication of Helicobacter pylori. Methods One hundred cases with Helicobacter pylori positive peptic ulcer were randomly divided into two groups (group A and group B,n=50).Group A were treated with omeprazole, amoxicillin and clarithromycin.Group B were treated with omeprazole,amoxicillin and urazolidone. All treatment schemes were twice one day,seven days a period.The data was evaluated with cost-effectiveness analysis. Results The eradication rate of Hp in group A was higher than that in group B (P<0.05),and C/E of group B was the better than that of group A(P<0.05). Conclusions The eradication rate of Hp in group A was the higher,but cost more,so it can be used if money permit. Scheme B has good eradication rate of HP, and C/E of group B was better,so schemes B was worthy to be popularized.
