Abstract
Abstract If two individuals of different species live closely together, such interspecific interaction is called symbiosis. Symbiotic relationships are widely observed and there are a variety of forms of symbiosis (Table 14.1). Symbiotic interactions include parasitic, commensalistic, and mutualistic relationships. Generally, interspecific interactions are divided into four categories.
