Abstract

Counter electrodes (CEs) for dye-sensitized solar cell (DSSC) was prepared by Marker pen lithography coating using poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene): poly(styrenesulfonate (PEDOT:PSS) and platinum (Pt) solution with high transparency and high adhesion on a conducting FTO glass substrate. The surface morphology and surface roughness of the PEDOT:PSS-MPL and Pt-MPL CEs were observed using scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and atomic force microscopic (AFM), for conformation test Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), cyclic-voltammetry (CV) was measured .The performance of the device were carried out using currentdensity-voltage (J-V) measurement system. As prepared CEs compared with dip coated PEDOT:PSS-DC and Pt-DC CEs. The test devices fabricated with Pt-MPL and PEDOT:PSS-MPL CEs accomplished a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.25%, 3.00% respectively.
