Abstract

Multidimensional gravitation based on principal layering, the basis of which is four-dimensional Einsteinian space-time while the layers are the SU(2) gage group, is considered. In the spirit of ideas in generalized Kaluza-Klein theories, gage fields correspond to the nondiagonal components of the multidimensional metric in this theory. A cosmological solution is obtained on the basis of an instant-like ansatz for nondiagonal components of the multidimensional metric. It is shown that, at least locally, this solution has a bounce; its behavior near the singularity is investigated.
