Abstract

In this paper, we consider the f(T) theory of gravity coupled with scalar field where T denotes the scalar torsion, and perform the reconstruction of the model in the context of an exponential evolution of the scale factor. Attention is attached to the slow-roll parameters and their expressions in terms of the scalar torsion are determined in order to analyze the impact of the algebraic function on them. Our results show that, for some values of the parameter w that governs the exponential evolution of the scale factor, the reconstructed model can lead to the slow-roll parameters in perfect agreement with the recent Planck and BICEP2/Keck-Array data, allowing to conclude to the consistency of the model.
