Abstract

Abstract The theory of f ( X ) gravity is a hybrid combination of Einstein Hilbert action with linear scalar curvature R and a non-linear function f ( R ) by Palatini gravity. Combined elements of both the theories seems helpful in studying the astrophysical and cosmological issues in a better way as compared to the original approaches. In this paper, we study the cosmological inflation by investigating the cosmic parameters like slow-roll parameters, scalar-to-tensor ratio and spectral index in f ( X ) theory. We also check the behavior of these parameters graphically, to see the consistency of the mathematical results with the observations.
