Abstract

Cosmological consequence of non commutative electrodynamics are investigated. In particular we consider the case in which the Lagrangian of the standard electrodynamics is modified by the introduction of terms of the form , where are the parameters characterizing the non commutative nature of the theory, and are the components of the electromagnetic field represented by the Faraday 2-differential form. We shall study the consequences of the modified electrodynamics working in the context of the radiation dominated era of the early Universe. We focus on the possibility to generate the matter–antimatter asymmetry in the Universe by using the present upper bounds on the parameter θ provided by CMB and Lamb shift experiments.
