Abstract

The principal cosmic ray (C.R.) events of a remarkable group of solar and geophysical phenomena observed on November10 to 15, 1960 are reported. Particular attention is called tothe C.R. increase recorded on November 12 at high latitude stations (≥45‡ geom.) and in the nucleonic component only, to its second, well distinct peak and to certain peculiarities of the whole phenomenon. In order to explain the 5 hours delay in the access to the Earth of the solar C.R. producing this enhancement, it seems necessary to look for some « storage » mechanism and some release process thereafter.
