Abstract
The third course of the International School of Space Chemistry, “The Cosmic Dust Connection,” will be offered in Erice, Italy, from June 6 to 17.The purpose of this course is to follow the evolution of solid particles in interstellar clouds and to show how they subsequently may be traced to comets, asteroids, meteorites and interplanetary particles. The role dust can play in astrochemistry is investigated with observational, theoretical, and experimental techniques. Advanced laboratory techniques for the study of meteorites and interplanetary particles are to be stressed.
