Abstract

It is shown that conditions of causal simplicity and pseudoconvexity are closely related. It is proved that under certain reasonable conditions space-time is maximally null pseudoconvex. It is indicated that pseudoconvexity may play the role of global hyperbolicity even though it is a weaker condition. Consequently, obtained results provide some tentative evidence for the validity of the cosmic censorship hypothesis.
