AbstractCommercial Banking (MIC: 8.1 SIC: 6021 NAIC: 522110)Corns Bankshares is a bank holding company with total assets of $10.10 billion and total deposits of $8.70 billion as of Dec 31 2006. Co. provides consumer and corporate banking products and services through its wholly‐owned banking subsidiary, Corus Bank, N.A. (the Bank). The two main business activities for the bank are commercial real estate lending and deposit gathering. The third, and smaller, business is servicing the check cashing industry. The bank has 11 retail branches in the Chicago metropolitan area and provides general banking services such as checking, savings, money market and time deposit accounts, as well as safe deposit boxes and a variety of additional services.
