Abstract

An 82-year-old male right-handed retired teacher reported in 2019, that three years earlier he developed difficulties in moving his left arm and foot, tremor in left-hand and gestures of the left upper limb that appeared to be independent of the patient's will, characteristics of alien limb phenomenon. We present a patient with cortical basal syndrome (CBS) and amnestic MCI who showed the presence of α-synuclein aggregates in the CSF and in the olfactory mucosa samples.
