Abstract

The corrosion resistance of constructional carbon steel 20 and 45 with large-grain and ultrafinegrain structure is assessed in tests corresponding to State Standard GOST 9.308-85. Distinctive features are observed in the corrosion resistance of constructional carbon steel with ultrafine-grain structure. Stability groups of constructional carbon steel with different constructional types are identified.
