Abstract
The corrosion behaviour of Ni in molten Na2SO4, NaCl, and in mixtures of these salts at 900° C, has been studied by electrochemical and topochemical methods. Microprobe analysis showed deep S penetration which causes embrittlement of the specimens by intergranular attack.
