Abstract
This paper is intended to describe the corrosion characteristics of aluminum, copper and titanium base alloys in marine applications. Two types of marine exposure will be considered: 1. Exposure to marine atmospheres in the immediate vicinity of the sea, and 2. Immersion either in static or moving sea water.
