Abstract

Atmospheric corrosion, soil corrosion and stress corrosion are important factors that lead to the failure of metal equipment in power grid. Adverse meteorological conditions and the presence of atmospheric pollutants will accelerate atmospheric corrosion, especially the corrosion of sulfur, chlorine, nitrogen compounds and salts to metal equipment; the corrosion of soil to metal components is mainly the function of electrolyte, while under the action of stress, the tower, conductor and hardware in the stressed state will produce stress corrosion when they interact with atmosphere. The comprehensive use of hot-dip galvanizing, new materials, new anti-corrosion coating and other technologies can effectively improve its anti-corrosion ability.
