Crudge et al. (2018) in fact do not state that wildlife farming should be banned. To correct this, the sentence that reads: For example, findings of expressed preferences for ‘wild’ have been used to strongly recommend that farming has not been a success and should be banned (Crudge et al., 2018), or that existing bans should be maintained (Gratwicke et al., 2008). should be replaced with the following: For example, findings of expressed preferences for ‘wild’ have been used to conclude that farming of certain species has no conservation benefit (Crudge et al., 2018) and that existing bans on farming should be maintained (Gratwicke et al., 2008).
