The BMI mean (SD) for the placebo/asenapine group should be ‘28.1 (6.0)’ and not ‘28.1 (5.6)’. The CGI-BP mania severity/9-week extension mean (SD) for the asenapine group should be ‘4.7 (0.9)’ and not ‘4.7 (0.8)’. In (1) on p. 821, there is an error in Table 3. The number (%) of patients reporting ‘all treatment-related AEs’ in the placebo/asenapine group should be ‘52 (55)’ and not ‘52 (53)’. In (1) on p. 823, there is an error in Table 4. The ‘change from baseline’ for alanine aminotransferase for the olanzapine group should be ‘3.6 ± 55.6’ and not ‘3.6 ± 55.7’. We apologize for these errors.
